The Society of St. Yves is always happy to welcome dedicated interns. Placements are possible within the Legal Department as well as the Advocacy Department. Internships last two to three months and are unpaid.
We offer direct exposure to the workings of a human rights organization, close supervision by the staff, and opportunities to attend lectures, trainings and special events.
Applicants should be extremely detail-oriented with good communications skills and proven interests in human rights and the Middle East conflict. An excellent oral and written command of English (Advocacy Department) or Hebrew and Arabic (Legal Department) is essential. A willingness to perform administrative tasks is necessary. Web and digital media skills are a plus. Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, database programs and Internet applications) are required.
We are also interested in interns who have their own projects in mind if they relate to our work. Legal analyses, historical research as well as research on current developments are topics, where interns might bring their own ideas to the table.
